Known Issues & Upcoming Changes

Channel Displacement

Due to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) selling channels 37 and above, Humboldt County TV District has filed for new channel displacements and will be making the necessary changes. These necessary channel changes will be occurring until the end of 2020, as many major broadcast stations will be changing in different phases. As a result of this, you may need to rescan your TVs more than once to update your programming. We will be sure to continue advertising as needed so that our community is aware of the upcoming changes.
