Come participate in an inspiring workshop that helps you discover Nevada's rich natural and cultural heritage through visual and musical storytelling! Nevada Arts Council roster artists – songwriter/performer Jim Eaglesmith & nature photographer/geologist Mark Vollmer – will help you learn what rocks create the ground beneath the Winnemucca area & the Humboldt County Library, and the life & cultures this geology has supported through the millennia. Sing, laugh and stomp to rhythms of percussion instruments & an original song verse that the audience creates! This program is funded, in part, by a grant from the Nevada Arts Council, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
